Trauma

Trauma can change the way you see yourself, the world, and your sense of safety. You may feel emotionally shut down or overly alert. Flashbacks, avoidance, nightmares, or distrust in relationships may be part of your daily life, even if the traumatic event happened years ago.

Whether your trauma stems from childhood, a toxic relationship, abuse, a one-time event, or long-term emotional pain, you are not broken. Your reactions are your brain and body’s way of protecting you. The good news? Healing is absolutely possible.

In therapy, we’ll create a safe and steady space to begin unpacking what happened, at your pace.

I use trauma-informed approaches, including grounding techniques, psychoeducation, and evidence-based methods like DBT, CBT, ACT, and narrative processing to help you move from survival to stability. You can reconnect with who you are beneath the pain.

Heal from the Past, Focus on the Present, Transform for the Future
