Sometimes we get into the habit of determining our level of success by the outcome. What happens when the outcome is not what you expected? How does this affect your self-confidence, self-esteem, and your willingness to try again?
Instead of looking at the outcome, look at your efforts. What efforts did you put into place that contributed to that outcome?
What efforts did you put into that relationship, friendship, job, and assignment? Take a step back, look at your efforts, be proud of yourself for your efforts, and keep going.
